Pre-Hospital and Emergency Endovascular Resuscitation Course - PEER Course

In 2015 the Institute of Pre-Hospital Care created the PEER course.  

The PEER course brings together experts from around the world including colleagues who have pioneered REBOA in Australia, Japan, Norway, and the United States of America together with those who have written academic papers on the subject. The course is only available to clinicians who practice REBOA as part of their emergency work. The PEER course is a collaboration between Queen Mary University London, Barts Health NHS Trust and the Institute of Pre-Hospital Care at London's Air Ambulance. 

The course runs over two days with the next course is taking place on Thursday 30th April & Friday 1st May 2020. Day one of the course is lecture based with time in the anatomy lab at QMUL - this takes place at the Mile End campus. Day two takes place in Whitechapel with lectures in the morning and scenario training in the afternoon on the Helipad.
