C4TS staff and collaborators are involved in the development and testing of new devices and techniques to improve care for seriously injured patients. These include our pioneering use of rotational thromboelastometry (ROTEM) technology for rapid diagnosis of Trauma Induced Coagulopathy (TIC), and support for the world first use of Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (REBOA) with London Air Ambulance.
