On Friday 7 August, C4TS’s summer school swings open its doors to 40 new students.
First year students on the MSc Trauma Sciences and MSc Orthopaedic Trauma Science programmes have the option of further developing their knowledge, technical skills and professionalism by attending our unique 2 week residential Summer School from 7th – 21st August 2015.
The Summer School incorporates simulated scenario training to complement students’ didactic learning and provide a solid grounding in the core clinical functions required to manage seriously injured patients.
Students can engage in workshops with the London’s Air Ambulance and the Royal College of Surgeons as well as hear from leaders in the UK trauma field. A huge range of topics is covered including war surgery, orthopaedic injury management, traumatic arrest and thoracotomy, rehabilitation and more.
