As a Research Assistant in the Trauma Outcomes unit I am involved in the collection of data from trauma patients during their stay in hospital.  I also conduct long term follow-up assessments post-discharge as part of the POET study, regarding physical recovery, mental health and quality of life.

I am involved as a Research Assistant in the FRESH study, a multi-centre feasibility trial looking at facilitating return to work for patients following traumatic brain injury, and also the ACIT study.

I have an MSc in Psychiatric Research. I am interested in mental health and I have recently been involved in research using imaging techniques in patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder to assess the impact of genome-wide association study (GWAS) identified risk genes on white matter integrity.
