Jared Wohlgemut

I studied Medicine at the University of Aberdeen, before undertaking the Academic Foundation Programme (Mersey), Core Surgical Training (East of Scotland), and commencing Specialist Training in General Surgery (West of Scotland).
Throughout my career I have had an interest in academic trauma and emergency general surgery, achieving Distinction in the MSc in Trauma Sciences from Queen Mary University of London.
I am currently a Clinical Research Fellow in the Centre for Trauma Sciences, Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London.
I am part of the COMBAT-AID (COMputer Battlefield Assistance in Trauma care and Injury Decision-Support) project, which is a collaboration between the Centre for Trauma Science (C4TS), and the Risk and Information Management (RIM) groups at QMUL.
We aim to create practical clinical decision support tools using Bayesian Network prognostic models, to aid decision-making when managing traumatic injury, in forward healthcare settings.
