Dr Jennifer Ross
I studied Medicine at the University of Glasgow, graduating in 2012, and remained in the West of Scotland for foundation training. Having watched too much ‘Casualty’ as a small child, I then entered specialty training in Emergency Medicine (also in the West of Scotland), gaining membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in 2016.
Shortly before graduating from medical school I joined the Army Reserve. Supported by the Army, I went on to complete the Queen Mary University of London MSc Trauma Sciences (Military and Austere) programme, graduating with distinction in 2016.
After completing ST3 Emergency Medicine I joined the Centre for Trauma Sciences as a Clinical Research Fellow/PhD student. I am very excited to work with such a great team and start contributing to trauma research!
Outside of work, I enjoy baking and playing football, although generally not at the same time….
