Miss Kate Hancorn is a Consultant Trauma and Colorectal Surgeon at the Royal London Hospital. Trained in the North West, she was the first national Resuscitative Trauma TiG Fellow, additionally she completed an observership at Cook County, Chicago. Her interests include GI trauma, GI restoration and training.

Nominated by The Dukes’ Club and the RCS England Women in Surgery as an innovative, inspiring and influential female colorectal surgeon who was described as ‘’a real inspiration to many’’ with her combined trauma work she has inspired and supported trainees to pursue a career in trauma surgery. She is a keen supporter for the development of diversity in surgery and has played an active role in supporting trainees nationally.
